The work of the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition is guided by a Terms of Reference and a Strategic Plan that frames the Coalition’s vision, goals and objectives over the period 2007-2015. Adopted in August 2007, the Plan builds on common understandings reached during the Coalition’s initial years, but supplements them with a detailed blueprint for action, for tracking progress and for clarifying the roles and responsibilities of Coalition members and structures.
At the core of the Strategic Plan are three broad goals that encompass all objectives, and indicators from which all Coalition activities derive. These include increasing resources, strengthening systems, and building effective partnerships. Click on the icon on the right to access an interactive overview of the Plan.
Transcending the Coalition's three strategic goals are four ethical principles: broad method choice, equitable access to supplies, country ownership, and gender equity. These principles serve as focal points for thematic forums whose membership cuts across the Coalition's Working Groups.
