The Diploma in operations and logistics management seeks that the participants manage tools that allow to ensure the planning, direction and fulfillment of the strategies in the companies, which may be applicable to product and / or service companies. Participants will receive the most current knowledge and techniques to implement a management control system in organizations belonging to different areas (Balanced Scorecard).

The concept of integral logistics will be worked on, which will allow them to perform in key aspects of the supply chain, specifically, in the efficient management of supply, distribution, inventory and transportation. This will allow controlling and managing processes that are of vital importance to achieve compliance with the objectives of the companies.

Within operations management, it is expected to understand the fundamentals of operational excellence and deliver updated operations management tools expanding the vision, using the LEAN Model as a competitive advantage. It is expected that students will be able to identify the cultural paradigms that can make it difficult to implement the model, both at the level of products and services.

Finally, it seeks to provide the necessary tools for the definition of management mechanisms on the five processes of the supply chain (Supply chain management: plan, source, make, delivery, return). New technologies will be emphasized, with a focus on their adoption and impact on the organization.
