Master in Logistics and Transportation

The Master in Logistics and Transportation seeks to develop the competencies in students to use the digital tools of Logistics 4.0 that companies and society currently require. New technologies offer the possibility of generating value in urban distribution, multimodal transport, sales planning and inventory management with Data Science algorithms, as well as infrastructure planning and operation under the new paradigm. of smart cities.

With our group of national and international professors, you will learn the managerial and strategic elements of innovation while using the latest technology to optimize the use of logistics resources, generating value for the customer.

The Master's program in Logistics and Transportation has 48 credits. The foundation component (26 credits) seeks to develop quantitative and technological skills, as well as management skills.

Students must select one of the following deepening components (8 credits) according to their interest:

Chain management: It seeks to develop managerial skills to generate value within value networks, where emphasis is placed on sustainability, the use of technology and quantitative methods for the design of logistics operations, and the vision for processes that seek to use analysis and improvement tools to achieve customer value.

Transport economics: The decision-making of individuals and organizations on issues related to transport and the impact of public policies and regulations is studied, where the available infrastructure network, its investments and the impact on individuals, productive units must be studied and society.

Ports and Logistics Platforms: In this axis the planning, operation and connection of ports and logistics platforms with points of origin and demand are studied. Ports and logistics platforms are understood as the specialized infrastructure that allows transport to be accommodated in optimal conditions for operators, mobility and the territory.
