70% of new LAPTOP Scholars are women

Fifteen young supply chain professionals in the LAC region were recently informed of their successful applications for LAPTOP Scholarships to further studies in their field. Ten of the 15 successful applicants are women working in health ministries, pharmacies, and procurement. Meanwhile, the most recent global round of scholarships has attracted more than 200 applications from low- and middle-income countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Adjudication has now concluded and offers are currently being made. We will announce successful applicants in our next issue of SupplyInsider.
