Ethiopia joins the Coalition

On 16 February, the Ethipian Ministry of Health became an official member of the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition. Health State Minister Dr. Kebede Worku and Coalition Director John Skibiak signed the cooperation agreement in Addis Ababa. Ethiopia now joins Ghana and Uganda as representatives of African government within the Coalition, and is the tenth government member to join the Coalition. With the upcoming 2011 Istanbul +10 meeting and the Coalition's annual membership meeting both being held in Addis Ababa the week of June 20th, Ethiopia's membership in the Coalition is very well-timed.
