Kenya invests in VAN Premium leadership

A cheer went round the room this month as health ministry officials from Kenya entered their first inventory data into the VAN in their new capacity as the data network’s newest Premium member. Premium member countries are better able to work with partners to move supplies around in the face of challenges, through expediting and inter-country transfers, due to the enhanced data visibility offered through Premium. The VAN has also welcomed the governments of Angola and Cameroon to its growing list of members, bringing the number of country governments to 38. The growth in country membership speaks to the value Ministries of Health see in using the VAN to improve visibility and decision making along the family planning supply chain.
