"Making the List: The Role of Essential Medicines in Reproductive Health"

The journal International Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health recently published a comment by PATH entitled Making the List: The Role of Essential Medicines in Reproductive Health. The comment examines the development of essential medicines lists (at both the global and national levels) and the place of reproductive health devices and medicines on those lists. Also reviewed is the process of compiling an essential medicines list, how countries use the lists, and the potential for ensuring access to reproductive health devices and medicines through the lists.
