On 20 August, the WHO approved Pfizer's Medroxyprogesterone acetate 150 mg injectable contraceptive (brand name Depo-Provera), as well as Gedeon-Richter's Levonorgestrel 0.75mg tablets (emergency contraception). Full details are available on WHO's Prequalification website.
