EML Search: A New Database for Tracking Essential Medicines

The World Health Organization issues a Model List of Essential Medicines, updated every two years. Many countries issue their own Essential Medicines Lists (EMLs), used to support decision-making on medicines and devices by a wide variety of stakeholders, including policy-makers, advocates, service providers, program managers, and those responsible for selecting, procuring, and ensuring the quality of medicines. Within the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition (RHSC), the Caucus on New and Underutilized Reproductive Health Technologies (NURHTs) has been working on the issue of Essential Medicines Lists since 2013.
