About Our Data, Tools, and Digital Transformation

We’re making data easy, so you can make better decisions.

Data is in our DNA. Since its inception, RHSC has expanded access to and use of high-quality, standardized, and aggregated market data to drive dramatic improvements in procurement, financial, and production decision-making. The community knows, trusts, and uses our flagship data resources.

But what if there were a way to access this data in one place? And combine data from multiple sources to create new insights?

RHSC is on a journey to bring these data and tools together to be more holistic and centralized. The goal is simple—make critical supply information accessible, actionable, and easy to use.

By streamlining today’s complex data ecosystems, starting with our own, we will enable smarter decisions and broader collaboration. Leveraging the power of technology and AI, RHSC will transform and advance how the community accesses and uses SRH supplies-related data.

Our Data in Action

From country governments and advocates to suppliers and researchers, our data drives action and impact. See how these stakeholders use RHSC data in action, below.

“With the enhanced data in the VAN, I can now optimize inventory levels, improve delivery routes and schedules, and forecast demand more accurately—leading to faster, smarter, and more cost-effective supply chain decisions.” – VAN country government member via VAN Initiative Annual Survey

In the face of the 2025 funding cuts, RHSC convened data experts to align on how to quantify the impact for the community. Advocates used that key messaging widely, telling the story to media and donors. A corresponding data matrix referenced key data sources to help advocates with their advocacy needs.

“LEAP is the only tool we know of which combines all of the main contraceptives in one report and is also free. It helps us determine strategies—an eye-opener for donors looking for trends.” – Jens Rasmussen, Missionpharma

Data from the VAN and VAN RHViz supported health data experts to model the impact of the January 2025 US government funding cuts on four health areas in a groundbreaking 2025 Lancet article.
